Unforgettable Weekend in Tucson, AZ

Our weekend getaway to Tucson, staying at the Lazydays KOA, was an absolute blast from start to finish! Arriving on Friday, March 21st, we kicked off the trip with a high-octane evening at Monster Jam at the Tucson Arena. The roaring engines, gravity-defying stunts, and electric crowd made it an exhilarating night—perfect for families and adrenaline junkies alike. On Saturday, March 22nd, we explored the newly opened Military Vehicle Museum in Tucson, and wow, it was a highlight! The collection of tanks, jeeps, and historic vehicles was impressive, with engaging displays that brought military history to life. The staff’s passion and knowledge added so much to the experience. While we were in town, the Thunder and Lightning Air Show was happening, and it was jaw-dropping. Watching fighter jets soar and perform daring maneuvers against the Tucson sky was unforgettable. Back at Lazydays KOA, we soaked up the resort’s fantastic amenities. The pool, game areas, and clean facilities made it a relaxing home base. Sunday morning, we indulged in their $6 pancake and sausage breakfast—a delicious steal that fueled us for the trip home. The staff was friendly, the sites were spacious, and the overall vibe was welcoming.
